Eric Morris is the Vice President for BCB Homes, Inc. He brings over 35 years of construction experience to the company and he currently is in charge of all field related operations for the company.

Eric graduated from The University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management and an Associate’s Degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Eric began his career with Turner Construction Company in Cincinnati, OH, working as a superintendent on commercial, institutional and industrial projects. He worked there for over six years in both Ohio and Tennessee and in that time worked on projects including Armco Steel Galvanizing plant and waste treatment facility in Middletown OH, the Cincinnati Zoo’s Center for Reproduction of Endangered Wildlife and the Jungle Trails Wildlife Exhibit, The Chattanooga Aquarium and St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis TN, and was awarded the Nashville Territory’s Top Staff Award in 1993. Prior to joining BCB Homes in 1997, he spent two years as a partner/operations manager for a small residential construction company out of Ft. Myers, FL.

In his 25-year career with BCB Homes Eric has built over 100 new construction homes and has worked on over 30 major remodeling projects. One of the most challenging homes he has built while with the company was constructing a home that was on a peninsula completely surrounded by water on three sides with part of it built over the water where a boat could come in and dock beneath it. The home was over 26,000 square feet and had a number of logistical challenges that had to be overcome. The ground floor has a 14-car garage and the home had a number of unique aspects of construction.

An avid history lover, Eric also has fond memories of a large renovation he did of an old home that was built in Naples on the beach in the early 1900’s as a bed and breakfast. On this project he was able to observe some of the various construction methods and materials used throughout the history of building in Southwest Florida.

Eric is a licensed State of Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC) allowing the services he is able to provide as a contractor to be unlimited as to the type of work that may be done, he is OSHA certified and also holds State of Florida licenses for mold remediation, mold assessment, Home Inspector and Roofing.

In addition to the above, Eric is a member of the Collier Building Industry Association’s Founder’s Board and is an advisor on the Collier County School’s Vocational Trades Program and is a member of The Immokalee Foundation – Future Builders of America.

Eric’s passion is reaching out to and educating high school-aged students about the career opportunities available in the construction field. He has been asked numerous times to be a guest speaker at Collier County high schools.

In his spare time, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife, Brenda, and their twin children Ben and Sarah.
