Hurricane Irma put us all to the test in Southwest Florida; both personally and professionally. Despite the scare and the challenges that this unprecedented storm presented, our community and residents worked together to create an impressive recovery that has powerfully demonstrated the vitality and resilience of this place we call paradise.
BCB Homes is proud to call Southwest Florida home and our loyalty to the community and our clients was clearly demonstrated before and after the storm. Our Field Operations Team was on the scene before the storm conducting home visits to assist customers with storm shutter installations and many other necessary pre-Storm property preparations. Post-storm, our team didn’t skip a beat, heading out to assess property damage, customer safety, and to ensure timely delivery of supplies as needed including propane for client’s generators.
While power outages plagued the area and many homes suffered devastating damages and water intrusion, over 300 of our homes had no structural damage with only minor issues that proved inconsequential. Our Estate Management Team supervises over 30 homes across Southwest Florida, none of which had any water damage.
We are proud of these results and that we have been brought in to fix damages to homes constructed by other builders. The defining elements of our success are, without question, the tremendous amount of time and effort we dedicate to researching, pursuing, and implementing the best methods, systems, and industry standards into every home we build and this shows in the resiliency our homes demonstrated during Irma.
