If one were to define Building Science, it would be considered the collection of scientific knowledge that focuses on the analysis of the physical phenomena affecting the building. At BCB Homes, in order to craft quality and superior homes, we understand that our Building Science department is an essential part of building homes that are better performing, more comfortable, and sustainable. Through our building process we implement Building Science techniques and knowledge such as waterproofing, insulation, tile systems and window/door systems.
The practical purpose of Building Science is to provide predictive capability to optimize the performance and sustainability of new and existing buildings, understand or prevent building failures and guide the design of new techniques and technologies.
