Travis Smith graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in finance, and has been with BCB Homes since 2003. Travis started his career with a multi-national Communications corporation, initially working as a Material Manager and Bid Coordinator and then moving into Project Management.
After 4 years with that company, Travis relocated to Miami to work with a custom home builder as a project manager in 2000. Travis oversaw the construction of more than 25 Custom Homes and was also instrumental in the start up of the Interiors division. In 2003, Travis decided that he wanted to start a family in a more family friendly environment like Naples and he and his wife, Lindsay, relocated to the West Coast of Florida.
Since Travis has been a part of the BCB Homes team, he has built over 20 homes and remodeled about 6. Of these projects, five of them have been certified as Green homes through the Florida Green Building Coalition. One of the most unique projects Travis has worked on recently was the Naples Casamore development in Coquina Sands. This project consisted of building 12 single family homes at one time. Two of the homes were finished and furnished as model homes and the other 10 were finished as shells to be customized by future owners. The project took Travis only 13 months to complete. Travis’s hard work and efforts has paid off and he made Partner of the business in 2010.
When Travis is not working, he enjoys spending time in “Southwest Florida’s sun and fun” with his family which is made up of his wife, two sons, a daughter, and their dog.
